Paraiso de la Bonita reopened in 2025 after a multimillion-dollar renovation by Marriott, which acquired the former Zoetry Paraiso de la Bonita in early 2024. The property is now part of the Luxury Collection and operates as an all-inclusive with 100 oceanfront suites. What makes it distinct from other Riviera Maya all-inclusives is the deliberate small scale and the complete elimination of buffets—every meal across every venue is à la carte and made to order.
At 100 suites, this is a property where the staff-to-guest ratio stays high enough to support genuinely personalized service. Flexible check-in and check-out times, 24-hour in-suite dining, and a 22,000-square-foot Thalasso Center with a large open-air saltwater therapy pool set it in a different category from the mega-resort all-inclusives in Cancun and Playa del Carmen. Many suites have private plunge pools.
The Thalasso Center is worth calling out specifically: open-air thalassotherapy pools are genuinely rare in the Caribbean. The nine treatment rooms, saltwater pool, and spa program are more comparable to a destination spa than a hotel spa add-on. Complimentary green fees at the nearby Grand Coral Riviera Maya Golf Course are included, which adds real value for golfers.
The 500-yard private beach is the longest private beach stretch at any boutique all-inclusive in the Puerto Morelos area. The airport is 22 km away—about 20 to 25 minutes, making this one of the closer luxury all-inclusives to Cancun International. The trade-off for the quieter boutique experience is limited nightlife and entertainment programming—this is a place for people who want to decompress, not those seeking a resort with a full activity schedule.
