Marriott Djerba, An All-Inclusive Resort, is a new construction on the site of the former Les Sirènes hotel near Midoun, Djerba, Tunisia — one of Marriott International's first all-inclusive properties in the Middle East and North Africa region. The development began in 2018 and the expected opening is 2024 to 2025, though confirming current operational status before booking is essential for any new property in this pipeline.
Djerba is a Mediterranean island off the southeast coast of Tunisia — a historically significant location with a mild climate, flat terrain, and a long tradition of beach tourism. The Marriott positioning here is notable because it represents a branded luxury all-inclusive in a market where international 5-star all-inclusive infrastructure has been limited. The 7,000m² water park and 540m of private beach on the Mediterranean are the property's clearest physical differentiators.
The thalassotherapy center is specific to the destination rather than being a standard resort spa add-on.
