Le Blanc Spa Resort Los Cabos opened in April 2018 as the Pacific coast counterpart to the Cancun property, applying the same Le Blanc formula — butler service, AAA Five Diamond dining, a 29,000-square-foot Blanc Spa with complimentary hydrotherapy circuit, and top-shelf spirits in the all-inclusive rate — to a Sea of Cortez setting. Forbes Five-Star certification places it among the most formally recognized luxury all-inclusives in Mexico.
The Los Cabos property is larger than the Cancun location (373 rooms vs. 259) and adds two dining venues specific to the region — Habibi (Lebanese) and Ocean (Baja-inspired seafood). The outdoor fire pit lounge (Fire) and the backdrop of the Sea of Cortez in a drier, high-desert coastal landscape distinguish the physical experience from the Caribbean aesthetic of the Cancun sister property.
One key fact for guests arriving with beach expectations: the beach at Le Blanc Los Cabos is not swimmable. This is not a property issue — it is a characteristic of the Los Cabos coastline, which has strong Pacific undertows that make ocean swimming dangerous across most of its beaches. The resort has heated pools including an infinity pool facing the water, but if a swimmable ocean is essential to your vacation, this is the wrong destination.
Sales pitches for membership or timeshare packages have been reported here as they have at the Cancun property — decline at check-in and the issue resolves. Shower water pressure in rooms has been noted as weaker than the spa facilities. Balcony sizes are smaller than some guests expect at this price point.
The resort is 35 km from Los Cabos International Airport — approximately a 35-minute drive. Whale watching from the resort balconies or by luxury catamaran is available December through April, when Pacific humpbacks pass through the area.
