TripAdvisor
Hotel Riu Tikida Garden is one of the few all-inclusive properties in Marrakech, and the adults-only policy (16+) makes it the quieter, more sophisticated option in the city compared to its family-oriented neighbor Tikida Palmeraie. The 15-acre property is genuinely attractive — low-rise Moorish architecture set among palms and formal gardens — and the five-pool layout gives it a functional leisure infrastructure for a non-beach inland destination.
The complimentary shuttle to Marrakech city center is the single most important amenity at this resort. Marrakech's Djemaa el-Fna square, the souks, and the Medina are 20–25 minutes by shuttle — not walking distance. The resort provides scheduled services, and using them daily is the difference between getting full value from the destination and sitting by the pool for a week. Couples who divide their time between exploring the city and recovering at the resort get the best result here.
The main honest critique: the Culinarium à la carte restaurant is included but operates on limited days and gets mixed reviews on consistency. When it's good, it's the best meal on property. When the kitchen underperforms, the buffet is the only option. The pool bar WiFi is generally unreliable — download entertainment offline before arrival.
Practically: 259 rooms, opened 1990, renovated 2021, about 6.5–10 km from Marrakech Menara Airport (RAK), 12–24 minute drive. Adults only (16+) means no children's programming. Price tier is mid-range for Marrakech. For upscale alternatives, La Mamounia or Royal Mansour are available at significantly higher rates.
