At 901 rooms on Mammee Bay — a quieter bay north of Ocho Rios town — this is one of the larger all-inclusives on Jamaica's north coast. The 2019 renovation added rooms, expanded the water park, and upgraded dining. The infinity pool is positioned above the bay with a direct ocean view — not a common feature at this price tier in Jamaica, and it's the architectural standout of the property.
Ocho Rios as a destination offers more to do off-resort than Negril or Montego Bay strip properties. Dunn's River Falls (climbable terraced waterfall), the swimming pigs of Ebony Hill, and multiple river tubing operations are within 20–40 minutes. The resort's proximity to these attractions is a genuine reason to choose Ocho Rios over other Jamaica all-inclusive destinations if excursions matter.
The honest logistical concern: the drive from Sangster International Airport (MBJ) is 90 km, with a realistic travel time of 1.5–2 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. This is the most consistently mentioned complaint from guests. Guests arriving late or departing early lose meaningful vacation time to this transfer. Sangster is the only practical airport option — there's no alternative commercial airport for Ocho Rios.
Room condition varies: the 2019 renovation updated specific sections, and some rooms are newer than others. Mildew smells in some rooms appear in reviews — worth inspecting on check-in. No 24-hour room service is noted in reviews as a missing amenity for a property at this tier. The entertainment program is continuously active — not a quiet resort.
