That location is either the whole point or a dealbreaker, depending on what you're after. The beach itself is excellent: long, flat, sandy, with the calm turquoise water characteristic of this sheltered bay. For families who want a legitimate all-inclusive base with Ibiza's beaches on the doorstep and the option to take the bus into town for a night out, it works well.
This is a resort for families with children or couples who want a full-service all-inclusive on a real beach rather than a private cove. The Lisy Mini Club (ages 4-9), Baby Club (from age 1), and Black & White Junior Club (ages 9-14) provide structured children's programming. The adults-only areas — particularly the infinity pool and certain dining options — offer some separation, but this property doesn't segregate as clearly as an adults-only resort. Couples seeking a genuinely romantic atmosphere should look at the adjacent Grand Palladium Palace, which has a more upscale feel.
