Opened in 2023, Domes Aulūs Elounda is one of the newer high-end adults-only (16+) properties on Crete's coveted Mirabello Bay. The amphitheater design isn't just architectural branding — the hillside terracing means nearly every room has an unobstructed line to Spinalonga Island and the bay below. That view, available from your private balcony without leaving the room, is the resort's clearest differentiator from competitors in Elounda.
The "cool inclusive" program is Domes Resorts' version of an all-inclusive — it emphasizes quality and local sourcing over quantity, and is designed to feel less like a buffet resort than a traditional all-inclusive. Six restaurants, four bars, and an adults-only (16+) environment without the background noise of a kids' resort. For couples and adult groups who want a premium all-in experience on Crete without the wristband-and-unlimited-well-drinks aesthetic, this is the right framework.
The honest limitation: it's new. The 2023 opening means limited long-term track record and no accumulated reviews to pattern-match against. Some of the supporting details — exact room sizes, specific spa treatment counts — are less documented than at longer-established properties.
