2023 Noble Beach Prize for Most Divine Dining

What distinguishes Divi Little Bay from other St. Maarten all-inclusives is its private peninsula setting — you have water on both sides of the property, with Little Bay's calmer waters on one side and Great Bay on the other. The resort's 308 rooms split between standard units and the premium Oceans tier, which adds the MIX AT OCEANS rooftop lounge, premium all-inclusive access, and dedicated service touches. For guests who want that upgrade path within a single property, it's a real distinction.
The resort suits families with kids under 12, couples who want both beach time and easy access to Philipsburg's shopping and casinos (a 15-minute walk), and anyone interested in the novel PureRoc lava-rock dining concept. Guests looking for an adults-only experience, or a highly isolated resort removed from town, should look elsewhere — this property is family-oriented and close to the island's commercial hub.
The honest drawback: refurbishment. Buildings A and B and the beachfront guestrooms were scheduled for renovation June–December 2025. If you're booking and those rooms have been refreshed, they'll be in good shape. If not, ask specifically which buildings are post-renovation before confirming. The resort also notes limited availability for late check-outs at 10am, which causes friction when flights depart in the afternoon.
Practically: 308 rooms, 7 miles from Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM), about 10–15 minutes. The all-inclusive package covers all meals, unlimited domestic drinks, non-motorized water sports, fitness center, Wi-Fi, and kids' club. The Oceans premium tier costs more but unlocks the rooftop lounge and additional perks. Three pools, including a multi-tiered pool with swim-up bar and an infinity pool, plus direct beach access.
