Club Med Yasmina holds a specific position within the brand's portfolio: it's the only Club Med resort in Morocco with direct beach access on the Mediterranean. That distinction matters in context — the competing Club Med Marrakech La Palmeraie is inland. Yasmina puts you on Plage de Cabo Negro with the Rif Mountains as a backdrop, within 15 minutes of Tétouan Airport (TTU) and an hour from Tanger. The recently renovated Yasmina building brought a new design aesthetic inspired by Tangier's "Bohemian chic" — mashrabiya-influenced interiors, North African textiles — that separates the property from generic beach resort templates.
This resort works well for active families and sports-oriented adults. Twelve clay tennis courts with included group instruction is the most specific differentiator in the activities program. Flying trapeze, archery, sailing, and paddleboarding round out the included water and land sports. Children 4-10 have the full Mini Club Med program; teens 11-17 have dedicated programming on selected dates. Parents who want structured childcare while they play tennis will find this property well-organized for that.
The honest limitation is the accumulation of extra costs. The spa is paid, the horseback riding on the beach at sunset (genuinely appealing given the location) is paid, cultural excursions to Chefchaouen and Tetouan's medina are paid, and Cabo Negro golf requires both green fees and an obligatory caddie charge. The all-inclusive rate covers the beach, pools, sports, and meals — but the most distinctive regional experiences all sit outside it.
Size and access: 343 rooms across four buildings (Altaïr, Andalou, Yasmina, Sultana). The Sultana building is beachfront and holds the suites. Tétouan Airport is 15 minutes; Tanger is 90 minutes. The resort's 17-hectare garden is large enough that the buildings feel spread out — the Sultana-to-main-restaurant walk is not trivial. Book a twin-centre with Club Med Marrakech if you want to combine Atlantic Morocco with the Mediterranean coast.
