Exceptional G.O. Team
Guests consistently praise the Gracious Organizers (G.O.s) for their high energy, professionalism, and attentive service in all areas. Their dedication creates a welcoming and engaging atmosphere, particularly in Kids' Clubs and sports instruction.
Diverse Culinary Excellence
The resort is celebrated as a "foodie haven" offering a wide array of international and authentic Turkish dishes, prepared with fresh ingredients and presented beautifully. Guests particularly rave about the quality and variety of buffets, including specific dishes like juicy kebabs and fresh seafood.
Abundant Activities for All
A major draw is the sheer volume and quality of included activities, ranging from watersports with lessons to the flying trapeze and various land sports. This allows guests of all ages to try new experiences without additional costs, ensuring constant entertainment.
Ideal Family Environment
Club Med Palmiye excels as a family-friendly destination, thanks to its well-organized Kids' Clubs for all age groups and activities designed for both children and parents. This environment ensures both relaxation for adults and endless fun for children.
Stunning Natural Setting
The resort's location, nestled between the Taurus Mountains and the Mediterranean Sea with fragrant, well-maintained gardens, receives high praise. The beautiful surroundings contribute significantly to a relaxing and picturesque holiday experience.
Activity Waiting Times
During peak hours, popular activities like watersports and sailing can experience long queues, potentially reducing the amount of time guests can participate. It's advisable to plan ahead or inquire about less busy periods to maximize enjoyment.
Childcare Costs for Youngest Guests
Families with infants and toddlers should note that Baby Club Med (4-23 months) and Petit Club Med (2-3 years) are not included in the standard all-inclusive package. These essential services for the youngest guests incur additional fees.
Weather Impact on Outdoor Fun
Strong winds have been known to cause cancellations of boat tours and certain watersports, which can be disappointing for guests whose plans rely on these outdoor activities. Guests should be aware of potential weather disruptions.
Room Modernity Variation
While many rooms have undergone renovation, some older units, though comfortable and clean, may not feel as modern as newer ones. Guests are advised to request a refurbished room for a more updated experience.
Limited Indoor Options for Bad Weather
There have been mentions of a lack of adequately sheltered indoor facilities, which could limit comfortable options for guests during periods of rain or strong winds. This might reduce activity choices on inclement days.

Club Med
Club Med Palmiye operates at a scale that's unusual even for Club Med: two distinct sections sharing one property. The Villagio holds 478 rooms in garden bungalows among pine groves; the Hotel section holds 242 rooms in a seafront building. These aren't interchangeable — the sections have their own restaurants, pools, and bars. Guests tend to develop loyalty to their section rather than ranging across both, which effectively halves the resort's operational footprint from their perspective. Opened in 1988 and renovated in 2007 with subsequent partial updates, it's the largest Club Med in Turkey and one of the busiest family properties in the European portfolio.
The sporting offering is the primary reason to choose Palmiye over other Mediterranean Club Meds: 11 tennis courts, 6 dedicated padel courts, and a full watersports program (waterskiing, wakeboarding, sailing, windsurfing, SUP, kayaking) all included. The beach is 800 meters of private Mediterranean shoreline backed by the Taurus Mountains — one of the more dramatic settings in the region. Adults without children who want serious sports time will get value here; the activity program doesn't thin out in shoulder season.
Two drawbacks worth knowing: popular watersports — particularly sailing and wakeboarding — develop genuine queues at peak times, and strong winds can cancel boat activities entirely with little warning. The second issue is room quality variation. The 2007 renovation didn't reach every room uniformly, and a portion of the Villagio bungalows haven't been touched since. Guests in unrenovated units describe them as comfortable but noticeably dated. Request a refurbished room (the Hotel building or the newer bungalow units) at booking.
Practically: Antalya Airport (AYT) is 50–55 km away, roughly 45–60 minutes. The Turkish hammam is freely accessible each morning — an unusual included amenity. La Cave wine bar and both Zen Pools are adults-only. Baby Club (4–23 months) and Petit Club (2–3 years) cost extra. The Topkapi specialty restaurant requires reservations — book on arrival.
