Exceptional Staff and Service
Guests consistently laud the staff's friendliness, attentiveness, and willingness to exceed expectations, making stays truly memorable. Many reviewers mention specific individuals who made their experience special, emphasizing a familial and welcoming atmosphere.
Unbeatable Location
The resort's prime spot on swimmable Medano Beach, adjacent to the vibrant Cabo San Lucas Marina, is universally praised. Its proximity allows for easy access to downtown nightlife, local shops, and restaurants, placing guests at the heart of the action.
Stunning Marina Views
The guarantee of picturesque marina views from every suite's private balcony or terrace is a significant and highly appreciated feature. Guests enjoy beautiful scenery from their rooms, adding to the resort's appeal.
Lively Party Atmosphere
For those seeking an energetic and social vacation, the resort's vibrant pool scene, daily DJs, and diverse entertainment offerings are a major draw. It caters well to guests looking for fun and interaction throughout their stay.
Inconsistent Food & Beverage
A common concern is the variability in food quality, especially at the buffet, and reports of watered-down alcoholic drinks. Guests are advised to manage dining expectations and explore the à la carte restaurants for better experiences.
Potential for Noise
The resort's lively environment and the presence of vocal sea lions in the adjacent marina can lead to significant noise, particularly in marina-facing rooms. This may challenge guests seeking a quiet and relaxing getaway.
Timeshare Pressure
Many guests caution about persistent attempts to involve them in timeshare or 'vacation club' presentations. These can be time-consuming and frustrating if guests are not prepared to firmly decline the offers.
Evening Entertainment Discrepancies
Despite marketing a lively atmosphere, some guests found evening entertainment lacking after 11 PM or felt the vibe could be less energetic, especially during quieter periods or if the resort isn't busy.

Breathless Cabo San Lucas sits on Medano Beach, which matters considerably in Los Cabos — most of the Baja Peninsula's Pacific-facing coastline has strong surf and dangerous currents, making swimming impractical. Medano is the notable exception: calm, shallow, and swimmable. For an all-inclusive resort in this destination, direct access to a beach you can actually get in is a genuine differentiator over properties a few kilometers away on the Pacific side.
The resort is designed for social adults — singles, couples, and groups of friends who want an animated, party-forward atmosphere. The Purple Rooftop Lounge hosts DJ sets and themed events most evenings, and the Freestyle pool area runs afternoon DJ sessions. Guests looking for a quiet, romantic retreat will find the energy here exhausting. The adults-only policy is absolute (18+), and there are no quiet wings or family-friendly zones on the property.
The Xhale Club upgrade adds exclusive lounge access, a private pool, upgraded room service, and complimentary access to the spa's hydrotherapy circuit (sauna, steam room). Some guests who upgraded felt the additional cost wasn't justified; others found it essential for the enhanced service level. The hydrotherapy circuit access alone can make it worthwhile if you'd otherwise pay for spa access separately.
Practically: 169 suites all feature marina views from private balconies — the resort isn't large, which keeps wait times short at bars and restaurants. Los Cabos International Airport is 35–60 minutes by transfer, depending on traffic. There are no kids or teen clubs. Timeshare pitches are a recurring complaint — be prepared to firmly decline at any resort orientation. The Lebanese restaurant (Kibbeh) and Italian (Spumante) are the most distinctive dinner options; neither requires reservations.
