VidantaWorld BON Opens Oct. 24 for Resort Guests Ahead of Public Debut
VidantaWorld BON begins a guest-only soft opening Oct. 24 in Nuevo Vallarta, with five themed worlds live before the April 2027 public launch.
VidantaWorld's Beauty of Nature theme park, better known as BON, will begin a soft opening on October 24 at VidantaWorld Vallarta in Nuevo Vallarta. For the first months, tickets will be sold only to guests staying at the destination complex in Riviera Nayarit, with general public entry planned for April 2027.
That timing matters if you are already booking a fall or winter stay near Puerto Vallarta. Soft-opening admission is separately ticketed and subject to availability, so a resort reservation alone does not guarantee park entry on a given night.
What guests can do on opening night
BON is positioning itself as a luxury, multi-generational park built around original Mexican-inspired worlds rather than licensed movie characters. At soft opening, five of seven planned themed lands will operate: Laguna Feliz, Celebration Lagoon, Crystal Star Plaza, Discovery Jungle, and Adventure Valley.
Headline rides already named for the debut window include The Rise of Soluma, a suspended coaster with about 372 meters of track and speeds near 54 km/h; Floresta Drop, which lifts riders roughly 40 meters above the treeline; and Time Quest, a family spinner in Adventure Valley. Celebration Lagoon's Crater show is set to close evenings with water, fountains, and light.
Cirque du Soleil LUDÕ, which premiered in December 2025 in a custom theater with more than 40 artists, remains part of the wider VidantaWorld entertainment package tied to the park's rollout.
How the soft opening actually works
Grupo Vidanta says BON represents roughly a US$1.5 billion investment and will grow to more than 20 attractions across seven worlds when complete, with additional experiences phasing through December 2027. Soft opening nights are planned Tuesday through Saturday, with intentionally limited capacity so crowds stay lighter than a traditional mega-park.
For travelers, the practical takeaway is simple. If you want first access, book a VidantaWorld stay that overlaps an operating night after October 24, then buy park tickets once your resort booking is confirmed. If you prefer a fuller park with more worlds open, wait for the April 2027 public phase or later 2027 expansions.
Why this changes a Nuevo Vallarta vacation
Most all-inclusive planning around Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit still centers on beach days, pools, and golf. BON adds a true evening destination on the same campus: rides, shows, dining, and gathering spaces without a long transfer. Families, multi-gen groups, and couples who want one high-energy night without leaving the resort zone now have a concrete date to plan around.
Park admission stays a la carte during soft opening. Factor ticket cost and nightly availability into the budget rather than assuming everything is bundled into the room rate. Guests who care more about quiet beach time can ignore the park entirely; guests chasing the novelty of a first-look luxury theme park should lock lodging early for late October and November weekends.
