Omni Pontoque Opens Reservations for Its March 2027 Punta de Mita Debut
Omni is taking bookings from March 2, 2027, at its 50-acre Riviera Nayarit beach resort with plunge-pool suites, a village spa, and major event space.
Riviera Nayarit just became bookable for another major beach debut. Omni Hotels & Resorts has opened reservations for Omni Pontoque at Punta de Mita, with selected rooms and suites available for stays beginning March 2, 2027, on the company's property site. The formal grand-opening date is still to be announced, so treat March 2 as the first sellable night, not a ribbon-cutting promise.
The 50-acre oceanfront project sits on Mexico's Pacific coast with access to about 1,250 feet of white-sand beach. Planned inventory includes 202 guest rooms, 28 junior suites, 14 suites with private plunge pools, and two four-bedroom villas above the coast. That mix is aimed at couples and families who want a full-service resort base rather than a condo rental.
Spa, dining, and what a day on property looks like
Wellness is sized like a mini village. The spa is planned at 11,105 square feet across 12 standalone buildings with 14 treatment rooms, separating treatments from the main hotel wing. Dining is mapped across five venues: seafood-focused Tatei, regional-contemporary Zuravé, all-day Esmeralda, a poolside bar and grill, and Periiku for coffee, ice cream, and market snacks. A kids club and an oceanfront fitness center with indoor and outdoor workout space round out the leisure brief.
Activities listed for the resort include guided nature outings, boat charters toward the Islas Marietas, plus mountain trails, ATV routes, and ziplines in the surrounding area. That programming matters for guests who want more than a pool loop after the long transfer into Punta de Mita.
Why planners are watching the event lawn
Omni is also selling the property as a meetings and weddings campus. Indoor and outdoor event space totals 27,295 square feet. The 5,869-square-foot Parota Ballroom connects to the 6,475-square-foot Papelillo Event Lawn, which the company says can hold up to 750 guests. Three breakout rooms and Tzicuri Pavilion with a patio and lawn facing the Pacific give planners a way to keep sessions and receptions on one campus.
