Nirema Hotel Spa Samos Opens With 72 Rooms and Private Pools
Nirema Hotel and Spa Samos is open under Accor's MGallery Collection as of September 2026, with 72 rooms, ages 13-plus, and a private beach.
Nirema Hotel and Spa Samos, an MGallery Collection hotel from Accor, is now open on the Greek island of Samos, adding a 72-room seafront stay at the entrance of Vathy in Greece.
Accor confirmed the September 2026 launch in a Sept. 24 note. Euronews reported first guests around Sept. 18. The hotel is managed by Athens-based SWOT Hospitality Management and sits beside the Samos Wine Museum, with Aegean, Vathy Bay, and Ampelos hillside views from the rooms.
Who can stay and what the rooms include
Nirema is adult-friendly with a hard floor of age 13 and up on Accor's booking page. Families with younger children need a different Samos hotel. All 72 rooms are described with panoramic views. Eight suites add private pools and large terraces. Guests also get a private beachfront area with sunbeds and a beach bar reserved for the hotel, plus an outdoor pool, fitness room, and Luo Spa with sauna, steam, plunges, and treatments built around local herbs, honey, and citrus.
Check-in starts at 3 p.m. and checkout is 11 a.m., so same-day ferry or flight exits need a late checkout plan if your bag drop is early.
Dining, wine, and the Cup of Pythagoras ritual
Food and drink lean into the island's agricultural and wine story. Accor describes a sea-view a la carte restaurant and a mixology-focused pool bar. Live booking copy names Apagia for breakfast and Apora Pool Restaurant for daytime bites and evening Aegean plates. Meal plans are not assumed; confirm what is included when you book.
Wine is part of the hotel's identity. The Curvus cellar pours Samos Muscat through tastings and pairings. MGallery's destination ritual here is The Cup of Pythagoras, a guided cellar experience using Cups of Pythagoras with local honey, olives, herbs, nuts, and fruit. Treat it as a paid experience, not a complimentary pour.
How to get there before summer charters thin out
The hotel is about 25 minutes by road from Samos International Airport and roughly a 50-minute flight from Athens. Seasonal directs from northern Europe fade after summer, so an Athens connection is the safer default for October and beyond. A ferry from Kusadasi in Turkiye takes about an hour into Vathy for travelers whose documents allow that routing.
Nirema joins Accor's existing Greek MGallery stays in Athens and Crete as a smaller, wine-forward Aegean option rather than a sprawling resort. If your group clears the age rule and wants a private-pool suite or town-bay setting next to the wine museum, rooms are already live on Accor's site.
