Three All-Inclusive Resorts Are Opening on the Same Day in Punta Cana — Adding Over 1,000 Rooms
Lopesan Hotel Group will debut three distinct all-inclusive properties on its Punta Cana campus on May 1, making it the Caribbean's biggest single-day resort launch of 2026.
Lopesan Hotel Group is about to pull off the Caribbean's biggest resort launch of the year. On May 1, the Spain-based company will simultaneously open three new all-inclusive properties on its sprawling Punta Cana campus, adding more than 1,000 rooms to the Dominican Republic's already booming hotel inventory.
The three properties — Splash Cove, Caoba Lagoon, and Serenity Bay — each target a different traveler profile while sharing Lopesan's existing resort complex and its outdoor Boulevard featuring dining, entertainment, and a bowling alley.
The Lineup
Lopesan Splash Cove is the family-and-couples play, with 244 rooms that include swim-out options and waterpark-view accommodations. Lopesan Caoba Lagoon is the largest at 552 rooms, designed around a cenote-inspired lagoon for a tropical-immersion feel. Lopesan Serenity Bay rounds out the trio as a 239-room adults-only retreat aimed at honeymooners and couples seeking a quieter pace.
The shared-campus model is a smart move: guests at any of the three new hotels get full access to the larger Lopesan Costa Bavaro complex, multiplying their dining and entertainment options without the price tag of a standalone mega-resort.
Punta Cana continues to dominate Caribbean hotel development. The Dominican Republic recently posted a record-breaking 3.7 million visitors in the first quarter of 2026 alone, and the pipeline of new rooms shows no signs of slowing.
