Lopesan Hotel Group is pulling off one of the most ambitious resort launches the Caribbean has seen this year. On May 1, the Spain-based company will simultaneously open three new all-inclusive properties in Punta Cana, adding more than 1,000 rooms to its existing Costa Bavaro complex in the Dominican Republic.

Each property targets a different traveler:

  • Lopesan Splash Cove (244 rooms) leans into the fun factor with swim-out rooms, waterpark-view accommodations, and a family-friendly atmosphere built around water features.
  • Lopesan Caoba Lagoon (552 rooms) is the largest of the trio, designed around a cenote-inspired lagoon. Its 16,000-square-foot spa with 31 treatment rooms makes it one of the biggest wellness builds in the Punta Cana corridor.
  • Lopesan Serenity Bay (239 rooms) is a dedicated adults-only retreat with a wave pool, swim-up suites, and a quieter, more refined vibe aimed at honeymooners and couples.

All three properties share access to the broader Lopesan Costa Bavaro resort complex, including its signature Boulevard — an open-air walkable mall with dining, entertainment, a rum bar, and a bowling alley that sets it apart from typical all-inclusive common areas.

The triple opening comes at a strong moment for Dominican Republic tourism. The country welcomed over 1.2 million visitors in early 2026, and Punta Cana continues to attract new development from both established and emerging hospitality brands. For Lopesan, the expansion cements its position as one of the largest all-inclusive operators on the island's eastern coast.
