A Spanish Hotel Giant Just Opened Three Resorts at Once in the Dominican Republic — Here's What's Inside
Lopesan planted a major flag in Punta Cana with a simultaneous triple debut spanning families, thrill-seekers, and adults-only escapes.
Lopesan Hotel Group has opened three all-inclusive resorts in Punta Cana at the same time, an unusually large single-move entrance into one of the Caribbean's busiest resort corridors. The Spanish operator welcomed its first guests in late July to the Lopesan Caoba Lagoon Resort Spa & Casino, the Lopesan Serenity Bay Spa & Casino, and the Lopesan Splash Cove Spa & Casino.
The three properties are built to split the market rather than compete with one another. A lagoon winds through the center of Caoba Lagoon; Splash Cove leans into families with a wave pool and full water park; and Serenity Bay is an adults-only retreat with quieter pools and private dining. Guests staying at any of the three can move between the shared amenities, giving the cluster the feel of a single mega-complex with three front desks.
The timing is notable. The Dominican Republic has absorbed a wave of new all-inclusive inventory in 2026, from luxury debuts to large-scale conversions, and Punta Cana in particular keeps adding thousands of rooms a year. Opening three resorts in one stroke is Lopesan's bid to be impossible to overlook in a destination where scale increasingly drives distribution.
For travelers, the practical upside is choice within one booking ecosystem: a family can pick the water park, couples can retreat to the adults-only side, and everyone shares the casinos, spas, and dining across the three flags.
