The Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino has officially opened The Westerly, a new 161-room luxury tower on Palm Beach that introduces a boutique-style experience inside one of Aruba's most established resorts.

The concept is a resort-within-a-resort: The Westerly has its own arrival experience, dedicated concierge service, and an exclusive adults-only rooftop — while guests still get full access to the 15-acre property's eight restaurants, renovated spa, and beachfront amenities.

The tower's standout feature is Terrace on 10, billed as the only rooftop terrace of its kind on the island. By day, it offers wellness programming including Pilates and guided breathwork with panoramic ocean views. By evening, it shifts to live entertainment and craft cocktails against a Palm Beach sunset backdrop.

Room categories include oceanfront suites with expansive terraces and adults-only swim-up options — a category that's become one of the fastest to sell out at new Caribbean openings. Interiors by Jeffrey Beers International feature a contemporary mid-century aesthetic with natural materials and locally inspired details.

The project was developed by the Aruba Growth Fund and represents the first resort on the island developed entirely with local financing. Hilton CEO Chris Nassetta called the opening an exciting addition to the company's Caribbean portfolio.

The Westerly joins a growing list of elevated resort openings across the Caribbean in 2026, as brands push upmarket with design-forward concepts and tiered service models. Rates start at $728 per night, with swim-up rooms running around $918.
