.Here Baa Atoll has completed its two-island retreat with the opening of Nowhere Private Island, announced by Visit Maldives on October 22. The new option gives one group exclusive use of an island with two residences, rather than a collection of separately occupied villas.

It follows Somewhere's December 2025 debut. That first island has seven residences; Nowhere adds two more. For travelers comparing private stays in the Maldives, the important distinction is how the accommodation is sold: Nowhere's residences are reserved together as a single island experience.

How much room does a group actually get?

The pair provides eight bedrooms and more than 3,300 square metres of space, with the announcement listing capacity for up to 24 guests. That headline capacity deserves a room-by-room discussion before booking, especially when several families need separate sleeping arrangements.

The five-bedroom Presidential Residence spans about 2,399 square metres. A three-bedroom Lagoon Residence adds roughly 930 square metres. Guests should ask for the proposed bed configuration and permitted adult and child occupancy, rather than assume eight bedrooms means the same layout for every party.

What makes this different from booking a large villa?

The island combines accommodation with private facilities. The resort lists a cinema, gym, steam room and sauna, alongside Fehi Wellness. Private chefs and its Roohu butler service support stays, with dining arranged around the group.

That makes the practical comparison a hosted group holiday. Organizers can discuss shared meals and time together while checking which services are included in the quotation. A private chef's availability does not, by itself, explain the food and beverage allowance or the cost of special requests.

What should you settle before paying?

Start with a written quote for the whole party, including transfers, taxes, dining and any planned celebration. Ask which wellness treatments carry additional charges and how activities are scheduled when guests want different things at the same time.

Also establish cancellation terms for the island as a whole. When one reservation holds both residences, the organizer needs to know what happens if a household drops out. Agreeing that responsibility within the group early can be as important as choosing who sleeps nearest the pool.
