Four Seasons Whistler Plans Thanksgiving Beyond Dinner, With Family Workshops
Four Seasons Whistler sets November 26 to 29 Thanksgiving activities, with a CAD 95 buffet, family workshops and wellness sessions to plan around.
Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler has outlined an American Thanksgiving programme for November 26 to 29, 2026, pairing a holiday buffet with family workshops and wellness activities. The October 26 announcement gives guests more to plan around than a single dinner reservation.
The mountain setting is part of the appeal, but the published programme also offers ways to spend the long weekend indoors. For a group with different interests, that can make the hotel itself a more substantial part of the itinerary.
What is confirmed for Thanksgiving dinner?
Braidwood Tavern's November 26 buffet is listed at CAD 95 per person on the resort's seasonal page. It will be the restaurant's exclusive dinner offering that day. The announcement describes turkey, prime rib and seafood among the choices.
That exclusive-menu detail matters if someone expects to order from the usual menu. Ask about children's pricing, dietary needs, taxes and service charges when reserving, since the advertised per-person figure alone does not settle a family's final bill.
The seasonal page lists Thanksgiving features alongside regular restaurant operations on November 27 and 28. Guests can therefore choose between making the holiday meal the centre of the trip and keeping later dinners more flexible.
Which activities suit families and non-skiers?
The announced weekend includes pumpkin decorating, wreath-making and a steak-rub workshop. Whistler Cubs offers supervised evening activities for children aged 5 to 12, while adults have a Paint and Sip session with local artist Andrea Mueller among their options.
Complimentary wellness classes are also planned. The resort separately maintains a year-round heated outdoor pool and three whirlpools, useful context for travellers who want time away from the mountain. A class being complimentary does not mean all workshops, childcare or spa treatments share the same inclusion.
The seasonal page asks for activity preregistration through the concierge by 6 p.m. the previous day. Confirm the specific session, age rules and any charge before building the day's plans around it.
What belongs in the travel budget?
This is a resort programme rather than an all-inclusive holiday package. Compare accommodation, the festive meal and any paid experiences separately. Guests considering a larger suite or residence should also check the actual kitchen and living-space layout.
The hotel estimates roughly 2.5 hours by car from Vancouver International Airport. Leave room for that transfer when choosing flights, and ask for a transport quote if you do not plan to drive. A late arrival can leave little time for a reserved dinner or workshop on the first evening.
