Cora Cora Maldives Plans an Atlantis Christmas Without a Festive Supplement

Cora Cora Maldives has outlined its Christmas and New Year celebrations for December 19, 2026 to January 7, 2027, with an Atlantis-inspired programme and an unusually useful promise for holiday budgets: the resort says there is no festive supplement.

The Enchanted Tide programme, detailed in an October 19 announcement, puts ocean-themed celebrations around the main holiday dates. For families comparing peak-season stays in the Maldives, that makes the final quote more useful than a room price viewed in isolation. A festive surcharge at another property can change the comparison even when its headline rate looks similar.

Which dates should you build a stay around?

The calendar starts with a tree-lighting celebration on December 19. Christmas Eve brings the Pearl Palace banquet, followed by Santa's arrival on Christmas Day. December 31 moves from sunset celebrations into the Great Atlantis Countdown, with dinner, entertainment and fireworks, then an after-party.

The programme continues into January rather than ending on New Year's Day. A farewell event is listed for January 6 and Orthodox Christmas celebrations for January 7. That gives guests choosing an early-January trip specific dates to discuss with reservations before settling on flights.

What does the no-supplement promise mean?

The resort's festive page explicitly advertises no festive supplement. That is a statement about the seasonal charge, rather than a guarantee that every treatment, excursion or special request costs nothing. Cora Cora also identifies optional extras within its wider resort experience.

Ask for a written breakdown covering your villa, meal plan, transfers, taxes and any activities you intend to book. If a treatment or private experience is central to the trip, confirm its price and reservation requirements separately. That keeps a useful inclusion from becoming an assumption about the whole holiday.

Will children have their own programme?

Yes. The published children's calendar includes treasure hunts, creative activities, beach games and pool fun, alongside the main celebrations. Separate wellbeing and recreation calendars give adults other ways to fill the gaps between the larger events.

Choose the accommodation around your family's daily routine as well as the party schedule. Ask about children's club eligibility, supervision and any booking requirements, then check whether a beach or lagoon villa suits the youngest traveler. A festive calendar can help narrow the dates; the room layout still determines how comfortably everyone spends the rest of the week.
