A European Adults-Only Brand Just Chose Cancun for Its First Resort in the Americas
Amare, the Spanish adults-only hotel brand, is opening a 429-suite all-inclusive on Cancun's Hotel Zone this fall under Hilton's Curio Collection.
Amare, the Spanish adults-only hotel brand known for its beach clubs in Ibiza, Marbella and Sancti Petri, is crossing the Atlantic for the first time. Amare Cancun Adults Only All-Inclusive Resort, Curio by Hilton is now taking reservations for stays beginning Oct. 31, its first property anywhere in the Americas.
The beachfront resort will open along Boulevard Kukulcan in Cancun's Hotel Zone, roughly 30 minutes from the airport, with a 20-story main tower and a six-story second building. Both are topped by rooftop pools looking out over the Caribbean Sea on one side and Nichupte Lagoon on the other.
There will be 429 suites, and Amare says 97 percent of them come with ocean views. Entry-level Junior Suites face the lagoon, while the oceanfront categories, branded The One and The One Club, add jetted tubs and a resort-within-a-resort layer of service. Rates for opening dates currently start around $315 per night with taxes, climbing past $760 for the top oceanfront master suite.
Dining runs deep for a single property: seven restaurants and nine bars, plus 24-hour room service and a dedicated mezcal and tequila curator overseeing the agave program. The brand is pairing its Mediterranean roots with Mexican and Latin American cooking, rotating art from regional artists, resident DJs and live musicians.
The resort is owned and operated by Spain's Fuerte Group Hotels and earns Hilton Honors points through its Curio affiliation. It joins an already crowded field of adults-only all-inclusives across Mexico's Caribbean coast, from Cancun to Playa Mujeres and the Riviera Maya, but it is the first to carry the Amare name outside Europe.
