One of Mexico's Top All-Inclusive Brands Is Finally Crossing Into Jamaica — Here's Where
UNICO Hotel Collection is bringing its boutique, adults-oriented all-inclusive concept to Jamaica for the first time, opening in Montego Bay in early 2027.
UNICO Hotel Collection is heading to Jamaica for the first time. The upscale all-inclusive brand, best known for its flagship on Mexico's Caribbean coast, has confirmed plans for UNICO Montego Bay, a boutique adults-oriented resort set to open in early 2027 along Montego Bay's white-sand north-coast shoreline.
The debut brings one of the more distinctive names in luxury all-inclusive travel to the English-speaking Caribbean. The project, first floated back in 2024, is being developed under AIC Hotel Group, the same company behind a growing collection of upscale resorts across Mexico and the region.
A different kind of all-inclusive. UNICO built its reputation on intimacy rather than sheer size. The original UNICO 20°87° in the Riviera Maya leaned into local culture, chef-driven dining, destination-inspired design and personalized service, an approach that helped it stand out in a segment crowded with mega-resorts. Montego Bay is expected to follow that same playbook.
Details are still thin, but early renderings show plunge-pool suites, poolside cabanas and sleek beverage concepts overlooking the Caribbean. Reservations have not opened; the company says booking information will come in the months ahead.
Why Montego Bay. The city remains Jamaica's primary international gateway, with nonstop flights from dozens of North American cities and a steady pipeline of new resorts and renovations. For travelers who want the convenience of all-inclusive without the crowds of a 2,000-room property, UNICO Montego Bay is shaping up to be one of the island's more intriguing additions when it opens in 2027.
