The Lake Como EDITION officially opened to the public on March 10, 2026, marking Marriott's EDITION brand debut on one of Italy's most coveted shorelines. The hotel occupies a restored 19th-century palazzo in Cadenabbia, on the western shore of Lake Como directly across from Bellagio.

The property features 148 rooms including 25 suites and two penthouses, each designed to frame views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The signature restaurant, Cetino, is helmed by Mauro Colagreco — the Argentine-born, France-based chef who holds three Michelin stars at his flagship Mirazur on the French Riviera.

A Floating Pool on the Lake

The standout amenity is a floating pool that extends over the surface of Lake Como, surrounded by private cabanas. The hotel also includes a private boat dock for guest arrivals and lake excursions.

The wellness offering centers on Italy's second Longevity Spa, operated by The Longevity Suite Group. The facility features biohacking technologies alongside traditional thermal treatments — a thermal pool, herbal sauna, Turkish bath, and seven treatment rooms.

For Marriott Bonvoy members, award nights start at 79,000 points per night — a premium rate that reflects the property's positioning at the top of the EDITION portfolio. The opening adds to a growing list of luxury hotel debuts around Lake Como, which has become one of Europe's most competitive luxury hospitality markets.
